Asset Tokenisation

Catena enables asset owners to create permissioned digital tokens that represent participation, ownership, or rights associated with a specific asset or offering. Each asset is issued with a defined structure, configured with rules that reflect how it is intended to operate, and managed throughout its lifecycle from issuance onward. This supports assets that require clarity, governance, and control.
Permissioned Token Model (ERC-20F)
Control who can hold and transfer tokens. Catena uses a permissioned ERC-20-compatible token model that allows issuers to define participation and transfer rules directly at the token level. This enables restriction of ownership to verified participants, enforcement of transfer rules by the token itself, and issuer visibility over ownership changes. Rules remain consistent regardless of where tokens are held.
Verified Participant Access
Identity verification before participation. Access to tokenised assets on Catena is restricted to verified participants. The platform supports identity verification prior to participation, controlled access to asset offerings, and transfers only between eligible participants. Catena facilitates identity verification as part of platform access and does not provide investment advice or suitability assessments.
Non-Custodial Wallet Architecture
Participants retain control of their assets. Catena is built as a non-custodial platform. Participants connect wallets they control, hold tokens directly in those wallets, and retain ownership and control at all times. Catena does not take custody of participant assets or funds.
Secure Token Operations
